Woodlands and Natural Spaces

Woodlands and Nature Partners

Cwmaman Town Council  and partner organisations have committed to undertaking local wildlife walks and educational talks of the
Amman Valley to show the work of the community and the wonderful wildlife of the area. These community
engagement events will be open to the community and the wider public, so that even more people can enjoy and
learn about the Valley.
Of particular importance is Parc Golwg yr Amman which at its heart will have a species rich wildflower meadow.
A wavy path will be created through the meadow so that visitors to the park can get closer to nature and
experience the joy of walking through a wildflower meadow and smelling the flowers and hearing the insects.
The park is open to all visitors.

Funding was provided by the Local Places for Nature scheme. It is being delivered by the The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with the Welsh Government.
