Byddant hefyd yn dangos adnoddau Guiding modern, bathodynnau natur a gweithgareddau i ferched 4–7, 7–10 a 10–14 oed. Bydd cardiau cofrestru ar gael i’r rhai sydd â diddordeb mewn ymuno.

Ted Teithio: Discover Cwmaman

Saturday 12 September 2026 from 1pm

A special day of nature, history, stories and discovery is coming to Golwg yr Aman.

Join Ted Teithio for a day of activities, storytelling, stalls, food and exploration, with organisations from the local area and further afield taking part, including groups with a special interest in nature, wildlife, conservation, heritage and history.

Children will be able to:

• Meet Ted and his wildlife friends and hear their stories.
• Take part in nature and discovery activities
• Collect their Nature Explorer Passport
• Earn character stickers
• Become a Cwmaman Nature Guardian

There will also be activity stalls, food, stallholders, community organisations and specialist nature and heritage groups, with plenty for families, visitors and the wider community to enjoy.

Come and discover the world of Ted Teithio and his wildlife friends throughout the festival.

Children will be able to:

• meet Ted Teithio and discover his story
• collect a Nature Explorer Passport
• take part in nature and heritage activities

• meet Olwen the Tawny Owl, Otto the Otter, Ffion the Marsh Fritillary Butterfly and Huw the Hedgehog

A display exploring the history of Guiding, including uniforms, photographs, books, flags and other artefacts.

They will also showcase modern Guiding resources, nature badges and activities for girls aged 4–7, 7–10 and 10–14. Registration postcards will be available for anyone interested in joining.

Hedgehog Helpline

Information about their work, together with some small fundraising items.

Bath Brynaman

Information about the lido refurbishment project, including how nature has been considered in the project’s progress and future plans. Tote bags will also be available to purchase.

Wild Cymru

Nature, wildlife and environmental information and activity.

Family Information Service

Information and support for families.

Community presence with information and activities on the day.

Bach Remedies

Bach Remedies will be joining us with information about Bach remedies and flower-based wellbeing approaches.
