Committee Terms of Reference
The following documents define the responsibilities, powers, and membership of each council committee.
- Finance and Governance Committee – oversees the Council’s finances, budgets, audit arrangements, governance, policies, risk management and compliance.

Assets, Facilities and Environment Committee – oversees the Council’s assets, facilities, parks, open spaces, maintenance and environmental matters

Community, Events and Projects Committee – oversees community engagement, Council events, local initiatives, partnerships and the development and delivery of community projects.

Personnel Committee – oversees staffing matters including recruitment, employment policies, training, welfare, and performance management. Due to the confidential nature of its work, meetings are normally held in private.

Appeals Committee – considers staff appeals relating to employment matters to ensure a fair, independent, and impartial review process. Meetings are held in confidence
